License: LabVIEW requires a yearly license fee of $50 per machine through the webstore https://strobe.uwaterloo.ca/ist/saw/webstore.
Installation: LabVIEW is available for download from National Instruments. See ist.uwaterloo.ca/ew/saw/labview for more information.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that I am a faculty or staff member of the University of Waterloo and in consideration of the receipt of a copy of Labview, I agree to the following conditions governing its use:

  1. I am prohibited from distributing, reproducing (except to make a backup copy) or otherwise transferring possession of the software.
  2. I am prohibited from making any modifications, adaptations, enhancements, changes or derivative works of the software. I agree not to obliterate or destroy the trade secret or copyright notice. I am prohibited from attempting to decompile or reverse engineer the software.
  3. I accept this software on an "AS IS" basis without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. I accept this software without reliance upon any express or implied representations as to the performance or capabilities of the software which may have been made by the University or the manufacturer.
  4. I agree that upon termination of my affiliation with the University, or the termination of the University's license with National Instruments, I must either return or send notification that I have destroyed any or all copies of the software or updates in my possession to IST.
  5. I agree that only if I am faculty/staff, may I use Labview on my own computer off campus. Students under my direction may only use Labview on University owned computers that are on campus.

In order to receive your software you must take this signed form to Computing Help and Information Place, IST, MC1052.
