The CHIP self-serve facilities are provided for students, faculty, and staff at the University of Waterloo.
Examproc Station
The Examproc workstation is for marks processing of multiple choice exams. After the exam sheets have been scanned by the OMR Scanner, the results can then be processed with the Examproc program, using the class list name file and the OMR data file. Assistance with first-time use of Examproc is available.
Quest and JobMine Station
Available for Quest and JobMine information only. Here you can enroll in, swap, and drop classes, view your tuition and residence financial statements, update your address and phone number so that the University can contact you, and change your password.
Colour Scanner
The scanner is available on a first come first serve basis, Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Files can be saved to removable media, burnt to CD, emailed or transferred via MyWaterloo. There are simple instructions posted at the scanner, and support staff are available to help.
Transferring Funds from your Watcard
You can now transfer funds from your flex account on your watcard to your XAS printing account, sign in using your quest userid and password, click on My Watcard, enter an amount and click on Transfer.
Photocopier (located outside the CHIP)
The photocopier is activated by swiping your Watcard. The only paper size available is 8.5in x 11in.
