Purpose of FACCUS

FACCUS is a resource group for staff providing user support in the faculties, IST and the Library. As a resource, FACCUS organizes and provides:

FACCUS Organization

FACCUS is run by its members. Organization of meetings and minutes is taken care of by Lisa Tomalty (with Bob Hicks as her backup). Minutes will be taken by either Bob Hicks or Lisa Tomalty. The chair for FACCUS meetings rotates alphabetically through the groups. The sponsoring group will take care of the following for their meeting:

FACCUS Mailing List

A FACCUS mailing list (faccus@lists) is used
  1. to notify FACCUS members about future meetings and seminars
  2. as a consulting tool for FACCUS members to seek advice on problems.
  3. for obtaining information about a computing topic.

If you would like to be added to the FACCUS mailing list, please send an email to ltomalty at uwaterloo.ca, indicating your name, faculty and phone extension.
