Electronic Thesis Paste-In Objects
- Art Work
- All art work must be made computer readable. This can be done by scanning it. There are a number of scanners on campus, one of which is located in the CHIP, MC1052, and is available to everyone at no cost. Most scanners handle a maximum size of 8.5 by 11 inches. The Graphics department operates a scanner capable of handling pages up to 11 by 17 inches. There is a modest charge for this service. To have anything larger scanned, you may need to go off campus.
- Photography
- If you will be taking photographs to include in an electronic thesis, you will want to consider using a digital camera. If you are using a regular camera, Graphics Services may be able to transfer your images to a CD. You can then import these images into your document. Graphics Services 'may' also be able to scan slides, or negative strips.
