National Instruments Academic Site License (LabVIEW)

LabVIEW is a graphical programming language particularly suited to data acquisition from laboratory equipment. LabVIEW is a product of National Instruments (NI).

National Instruments Site License

UW has a teaching/research site license for almost all National Instruments products, including LabVIEW.

Purchasing LabVIEW and other NI Products

  • NI Academic software (including LabVIEW) is now licensed per machine.
  • Purchase a license from the Scientific Computing Webstore.
  • The purchaser or the end user will be able to enter the machine name.
  • The machine name needs to be registered in DNS.
