National Instruments Academic Site License (LabVIEW)
LabVIEW is a graphical programming language particularly suited to data acquisition from laboratory equipment. LabVIEW is a product of National Instruments (NI).

UW has a teaching/research site license for almost all National Instruments products, including LabVIEW.
Purchasing LabVIEW and other NI Products
- NI Academic software (including LabVIEW) is now licensed per machine.
- Purchase a license from the Scientific Computing Webstore.
- The purchaser or the end user will be able to enter the machine name.
- The machine name needs to be registered in DNS.
