Mathcad on Vista

Mathcad CDs with the date code F000 are not Vista compatible. To install on Vista you will need the product code included in the package and you will need to download an updated version of Mathcad from the PTC website:

Visit http://www.ptc.com
Click on My Account
Click on Create a Basic Web Account
Fill in the requested information
Visit http://www.ptc.com/support/mathcad_downloads.htm
Click on the file CD_English.exe(212 MB)
Enter the account information for the PTC account you just created.
Save the file
When you run the CD_English.exe file you just downloaded, it will unzip the installation files. Create a new directory like C:\Mathcad to store these files.
Install Mathcad by running the setup.exe file in the download directory e.g. C:\Mathcad\setup.exe
