What is Simul8?

Simul8 is a program for simulating systems that involve the processing of discrete entities at discrete times.
Consider a restaurant example:
The periods of time generally are sampled from a statistical or empirical distribution.
Simul8 allows the system to be constructed visually.
Simul8 produces reports after each run with performance of the system. Systems can also be animated.
