Current MATLAB Version

The research license server currently supports MATLAB R2010b SP1 (MATLAB 7.11.1).

MATLAB Activation is not required

As you install MATLAB, you will see many references to activation of the software. This information does not apply to our site license. To install MATLAB, you need the license.dat file from the Scientific Computing Webstore and an account on the Mathworks web site.

Prompted for Activation after Installation

If you are prompted to activate MATLAB after installation, you need to download the license file (license.dat) from the Scientific Computing Webstore and place it in the C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2010b\Licenses folder.

PLP no longer needed

Please note that the Personal License Password (plp.txt) is not needed for MATLAB R2008a and later.
