Strategic planning

Strategic planning is an on-going activity in Information Systems & Technology (IST); it is led by IST management teams with input from IST staff and the University community through the many formal and informal information technology committees and discussion forums.

IST Strategic Plan, 2017-2020

In late 2016, a strategic planning process began for IST. Now complete, the outcome of this process is the IST Strategic Plan (2017-2020), which was developed over a 12 month period through a broad campus consultation process that included 40 individual meetings with stakeholders, a survey, and workshops. Many in the campus community played a direct role in development of the plan, or had the opportunity to review early drafts, and provide feedback. The IST Strategic Plan includes key areas for action that organize the specific work that must be complete in order for us to achieve our goal and overall strategy.

We invite you to review the plan and areas for action on the IST Strategic Plan website.

Questions or feedback about this work can be shared with Connie van Oostveen.
