Campus Computing & Network

The University maintains a computing and network technology infrastructure to support its mission of advancing learning and knowledge through teaching, research, and scholarship.

This infrastructure consists of a vast array of equipment including email & web servers, network storage devices, directory servers, cabling systems, network switches and routers, and more.

Some of this infrastructure is managed centrally by IST and some is distributed to the Faculties and departments of the University.

Coordination of this decentralized environment takes place through the University Committee on Information Systems & Technology (UCIST) and the computing system and network advisory groups.

Roles and responsibilities are described through the publication of policies, statements and directives.
