Coaching in sports and managing people at work require similar skills. They involve skills related to motivation, communication, dealing with adversity, teamwork,
performance, leadership, confidence, expectations, and collaboration. Staff are being asked to work as part of a team more than ever before, and for some people this is a
different and challenging experience. Managing staff and/or a project team without any training or experience can be scary for both the manager and the members of the team.
Even if you have been a manager for a long time, you can learn new things to improve. What are the characteristics of managers who have inspired you in the past? In this
seminar Bob will share some experiences, good and bad, that have helped him as a coach, and as a manager.
