Still Images Revolve Around The Viewer
Layman's Basic Description Of The Model
The viewer stays in one place and revolves around looking at different
images.
Briefly How Are They Made?
By photographing an existing scene.
- Photos are taken of the various scenes.
- They are then digitized and adjusted to matching sizes.
- The photos are then placed around the inside of a sphere for viewing.
Examples
- Model in many poses- The model takes various poses using a beach as
a back drop.
small 284k large 1,000k
- Flight - If I wanted to show the the major stages in the wing flap
of a bird, then you would position images of the major steps of the motion
of the wing flap one after the other. The user would then be able to move
these pictures by and see how a wing flaps. If you made the view wide enough
they could compare two or three images to see the changes. If the user
rotates it fast enough they would get the impression of the motion of the
wing flap.
