The Centre for Learning and Teaching Through Technology

LT3 is the focal point for University of Waterloo's efforts in enhancing learning with interactive technologies.

Departments

The Electronic Library
A hypermedia Internet information system, providing access to electronic resources and services, local as well as originating elsewhere on the Internet.
TRACE
The TRACE Office supports innovative teaching and learning enabled by interactive technologies.
Audio/Visual
Provides classroom teaching aids, and production facilities and technical services (NO CHARGE for use of most equipment, production facilities and assistance for academic purposes).
Distance and Continuing Education
Helps instructors move their courses on-line in order to use new methods of teaching and learning through making use of technologies.
Graphics
Offer Web site design and management, as well as their traditional imaging services, and new ones such as ExamBank.

Committees

Teaching and Learning Roundtable

Members from the above groups, IST, and other groups meet to discuss topics related to LT, sharing information, investigating campus topics in LT.

Research Groups and Programs:

InfraNET: Internet application research and development at UW.
Management of Technology Program: A Masters of Applied Science program intended for engineers and scientists who need to deal with technology management in their jobs.
