Access LED does not go out after power up
Symptom: Access LED and motor do not go out after power up.
Target : -
Possible sources of failure
- serial cable -> continuous reset
- 74LS14
- <>5V
Analysis
Cable ok?
Try a different serial cable. If it works, buy a new cable. The
old one is damaged and causes a continuous serial reset.
71LS14 ok?
Exchange the 71LS14 located near the serial input/output jacks.
The following procedures require a multimeter or a logic tester.
