Bob Hicks asked that we form a subgroup of 3 or 4 people to plan future meetings, training initiatives, etc. Since the meeting Koorus Bookan has volunteered. We need one or two more people. Please see Bob if you would be willing to help. The subgroup will meet once a term, and work together for one year.
Bob also suggested the possibility of having 1/2 day or full day conference for computing support reps. This would be similiar to the WatITis conference, but with more focus on computing in academic support areas. There could be tutorial-like sessions (e.g. outlook), and information session on topics like active directory, malware and hardware (e.g. ipods). The conference would allow more opportunity to mingle.
