The X1541 Cable

 C-64 serial bus (6-pin, female):

 PC parallel port (25-pin, female):

 Note: All pictures show the plug side of the machines, and the solder
       side of the connectors of your X1541 cable, respectively.



Now build a cable (5-core) which connects according the following
scheme:

  C-64 serial  | PC parallel
  -------------+---------------
   2 GND       | 18-25 GND
   3 ATN       | 1     Strobe
   4 CLK       | 14    AutoFeed
   5 Data      | 17    SelectIn
   6 Reset     | 16    Init
   
 On the parallel port, connect pin 2 (Data 0) with pin 15 (Error).
